Like other garden bloggers, I’m appreciative of our first snow as it blankets the garden and adds a peacefulness here at Coppertop. Projects have moved indoors, including a revival of Jammin’ January, with both marionberry and raspberry jam on today’s agenda. Soon our home will be smelling like sweet summer! Another item on my list is the annual perusal of seed catalogs/websites. Plenty to enjoy on this snowy day.

    You’re the optimist kind of gardener on cold winter days!
    These are days for gardening books and catalogues, for sure. My neighbour loaned me a few catalogues and magazines and I loaned her a copy of “Twigs in My Hair”. We are both happy.
