While some garden bloggers write an enjoyable “Six on Saturday” to note their gardens’ progress, today I am losing count of what I am thankful for. A smidgen of life’s beauty and bounty is below.

Gorgeous, new dinnerplate dahlias, ‘Snow Country’ — a foot across

The starting blooms of graceful, faithful anemones

Amazing fragrance and texture of many deck pots of heliotrope, all started from one seed packet

Many, many pounds of sustaining zucchini, cukes, squash, beans, broccoli, and tomatoes harvested yesterday

Life’s rich variety displayed in our hydrangeas

Colorful, beautiful edges of the veggie garden, attracting pollinators of al types

Cutting beds of dahlias and glads that provide joy and the promise of beauty to come
For all these gifts and so many more, Lord, I give you thanks.
Beautiful abundance!
