Deck Days

I enjoyed growing plants for our deck pots from seed this spring. The lobelia, cosmos, sweet peas, basil, and varieties of sunflowers thrived and are providing pretty spots of color. Son grew the lavender which we transplanted to one of the largest pots. I’ve limited the quantities grown because the men of the house will be refinishing the deck in a couple of weeks, and moving pots to and fro is not fun. One other note:  These sweet peas were grown from seed I harvested two years ago and stored. My favorite deck delights are featured in the last photo, of course! 🙂
