From the new Kwanzan cherry tree to the lilac bushes, spring is in full glory with blossoms everywhere at Coppertop. Even in today’s drizzle, beauty abounds.
Last week the entire orchard burst into bloom during a string of hot days, followed this week by the beginning blooms of our beautiful weeping crabapple.
The first Geum chiloense ‘Mrs. Bradshaw’ flower shines a red spot in the chicken hill bed. One seed packet of geum last year produced huge masses of this faithful perennial which stayed green all winter. Hundreds of buds promise a spectacular display.
Such beautiful sights of Spring.

Thank you, Cynthia. It’s such a pleasure to be outdoors in this season especially, isn’t it?
