Gardens at Coppertop

At last, it’s tulip season at Coppertop! A couple of weeks ago, the first deep magenta tulips opened, and it’s been a steady parade since then. Almost all tulips growing here are in pots on our deck. A large percentage are fresh bulbs new for this year, but a few are returns from last year that I replanted. Blooming season has arrived about two weeks earlier than it did in 2015, perhaps because I filled the pots earlier. 😉 Some of their beauty is pictured below. Thanks  to my dear mom, we were able to replace the umbrella that broke in a storm last year, so we have a nice shady spot to enjoy meals on the deck again.
