Our five Araucana chicks are about three weeks old now. Their cute tails and wings are growing quickly, and their legs and feet look too big for their bodies. The girls have a new home in the garden shed where a heater and heat lamp keep them cozy.
What a joy it is to have dear niece Meggie visiting and naming chicks for us. This is her holding “Meggs” — two cuties! I’m hoping Meggs honors her new name by producing lots of lovely blue eggs in the months to come!
Exciting to have new babies to scratch around the gardens. Hope they live long and productive lives!
