We’re loving the wild mix of tulip colors in our deck planters.

It goes to show that what packages promise isn’t always delivered. I imagined that I had planted reds and yellows, so this blend is relatively close, but the deep purple with white are a surprise.

It’s been especially nice to have early, mid and late season bulbs so the show has lasted about a month already with more to come.

The only other tulips I planted are beneath the young birch trees. The bright red in the whiskey barrels stands out in a sea of green. May is looking beautiful already!
