What a beautiful, white wonderland we awoke to yesterday. Our weekend has been packed with fun in the snow, and the six inches of powder have frosted the landscape in gorgeous fashion. The chickens were very appreHENsive about the white stuff, but ventured out to explore their very first snow. Hubby completed another stage of his Griswoldian decorations straight out of Christmas Vacation in time for today’s start of Advent — here’s hoping we don’t blow fuses as we light up Coppertop gardens!
It just looks magical!

Beautiful – is that mountain in the distance in the last photo Rainier? Gorgeous view!

Thank you, Eliza. That is Mt. Baker to the northeast. We never tire of the views here!

I can see why! 🙂
My son is a snowboarder, so I know about Mt. Baker. Great riding, I hear.
