IMG_2799 - Version 2

Gratefulness overflows as this week has been filled with loving family and great food, amid pretty consistent rainfall. The Lopi woodstove has been burning continually, adding a wonderful warmth to our days. Hubby and Son have helped in the kitchen and reconnected over stacking wood, then removing fences and fenceposts in the mud.

The “dog yard” is no longer fenced in, and the views from the hot tub are better than ever. We’ve all enjoyed unwinding in the warm, relaxing water.

Flocks of birds at the feeders have been amusing to watch. The feeders sitting on the deck railing are attacked by chickadees and juncos even before I have the chance to hang them in trees. Hummingbirds are regulars, and a third visit from a bald eagle in our garden this morning was the cherry on top.
