Pots of cosmos on the deck are responding to this week’s warmer temperatures by reaching up and out.
Over in the dappled shade beds near the black arches, transplanted foxgloves are thriving. It’s amazing that so much beauty can come from one small packet of tiny seeds.
Beneath the birch trio, barrels of annuals and returning echinacea are visited by feathered friends including the hens.
It’s hosta season on the north side of the house, and these healthy specimens don’t disappoint.
Down along the south side of the garden shed, the heat is appreciated by the sunflowers, with new varieties popping open this week.
And a quick look into the pond on the way back uphill reveals loads of happy, peaceful water lilies.
Beautiful plants! Great pictures of the water lilies!
